We walked toward Town Lake and the Colorado River. Julie checks out the water.

Eventually we drove south out of the downtown area. We found a company that rents kayaks, so we took an hour tour of Town Lake.

Our last stop in Austin was the Zilker Park swimming hole. We swam for awhile, then headed toward Fredericksburg before hiking Enchanted Rock the next morning.

I was told about Enchanted Rock from a guy in my backpacking class. Although not very high in elevation, it was fun to climb around and investigate the area.
